Martha Shelpman

Martha Shelpman, age 77, of Columbus, passed away at Monterey Care Center on Monday, July 30, 2007. She retired from IBM and was a longtime resident of Tampa, FL.where she was active in church and a volunteer at Tampa General Hospital. She moved back to Columbus to be near family in 1990. Preceded in death by husband Everett Shelpman, sisters Lois Branscome and Jeanne Shaw, brothers Lowell Liston, Richard Liston, Donald Liston, and Chuck Liston, nephew Jack VanHorn, and niece Debbie Wessel. Survived by sisters Betty VanHorn and Sara Wessel, 17 nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews, several great great nieces and nephews, beloved dog and loving companion Mindy and special friends Shelia Korn and Becky Ewart. Memorial service will be held 11 am Saturday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME WITH CREMATORY, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard.
