Mary Alice Becker

Mary Alice (Sherwood) Becker, age 81, of Hilliard, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2011. Retired 4th grade school teacher at Brown Elementary for Hilliard City Schools, Hilliard graduate Class of 1947 and Ohio State University graduate. Life member of Northwest Franklin County Historical Society and the Women’s Auxiliary Norwich Township Fire Department. Preceded in death by loving husband Wayne B. Becker. Survived by son Gary (Lynne) Becker, daughter Gale (Bob) Martin, 5 grandchildren and 1 step grandson. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday with Rev. Steve Hicks officiating. Interment Forest Grove Cemetery, Plain City, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Norwich Township Fire Department.
