Mary Delashmutt

Mary Delashmutt, age 92, of Hilliard, passed away April 26, 2015. Member of St. Andrew Catholic Church Upper Arlington and their Woman’s Club. Mary was a working beautician for over 60 years and a caregiver for many years. Preceded in death by husband Bill Delashmutt, parents Charles and Christine Gardine, 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Survived by children Janie Coey and Ed (Betsy Kingsley) Delashmutt, sister Patricia Koogler, grandchildren Allen and Timothy (Erin Hood) Delashmutt, great granddaughter Evelyn Schrappe, numerous loving relatives and friends. The family would like to express a special thank you to mom’s caregiver Vivia Giannamore for her loving care. Family will receive friends Thursday 12-2 pm and 6-8 pm at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME WITH CREMATORY, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 82 E. William St., Delaware, OH 43015 with Father Michael B. Watson officiating. Cremation to follow. Private inurnment St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to “Spirit of Nursing” Foundation c/o OhioHealth, 180 East Broad St., Columbus, OH 43215.
