Mary Ellen Grant

Mary Ellen Grant, age 83, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Hilliard, Ohio, passed Friday, December 1, 2023 at Forest Hills Care Center in Columbus.  Mary was Catholic by faith and a 1958 graduate of Bishop Watterson High School.  Born in Columbus to the late Clarence William and Theresa Ellen (Leonard) Whip, she retired from the City of Columbus, Division of Water, after 26 years of service.  She was a former member of the Columbus Literacy Council, AARP, the NRA and the Hilliard Senior Citizens. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her sister Dorothy E. Lupo and her husband Robert Grant, who passed in 2017.  She is survived by her step-son Steven (Tracy) Grant, step-grandchildren Anthony and Aubrey Grant, and nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Liturgy will be held 10:30a.m. MONDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2023 at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 with Deacon Frank Iannarino, officiating.
