GROFF Mary M. Groff, age 93, formerly of Madison Mills, died Friday, March 26, 2010 in Springmeade Health Care Center in Tipp City, Ohio. She was born January 3, 1917 in Washington Court House, Ohio, daughter of the late William and Mabel West Anschutz.
She was a member of the Madison Mills United Methodist Church; past member of Bloomingburg Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Taylor Groff; children, Gail & Ed Grim of Tipp City, Ohio, Don & Ruth Groff of Houston, Texas, Jim & Judy Groff of Acworth, Georgia;
5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother, Bill Anschutz and sister, Betty Dere, both of Washington Court House.
A Graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 3, 2010 in the Madison Mills Cemetery. There will be no public visitation. The family is being served by the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling.
