Mary Hurley

Mary Borghese Hurley gently returned to her Lord on March 28, 2012. She was born on July 27, 1919 in Columbus, OH. She graduated from North High in 1938. She resided in Hilliard, after having lived for many years in the Washington, DC area. Mary was an active member of the Upper Arlington Senior Center. Married for 39 years to her childhood sweetheart John James Hurley, who preceded her in death. Also preceded in death by her parents Fioravante Antonio and Burna Lee McAlister Borghese, brother Leroy Borghese and sister Suzanne Burke. Survived by sisters Lorraine Parcher, Elsie Hilditch and Bertie Lou Hessenauer, daughters Diane Marie Snyder (Bill) Mason, Patricia Mary Hurley (Steven) Scotti and Elizabeth Johanna Hurley (Wray) Blattner, grandchildren Susanna Marie Mason (Joe) Cahill, David Hurley Mason, Jonathan Wesley (Jenny) Mason, Mark Patrick Scotti, Paul Steven Scotti, James Henry Blattner and John Donald Blattner, great-grandchildren Mary Elizabeth Jackson, Bree Mason, Hannah Cahill and Mason Cahill, and many faithful, loving relatives and friends. There will be no local services. Inurnment will be at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children’s Hospital, 700 Children’s Dr., Columbus, OH 43205.
