Mary "Jane" Thornton

Mary “Jane” Thornton, age 84, of Hilliard, passed away April 27, 2011. Retired from Big Bear. She was a talented seamstress and had a love for sewing. She loved making crafts and attending craft sales. She also made puppets for Lucy’s Toy shop. Preceded in death by husband of 60 years, Charles. Survived by children Nancy McCormick, Karen (Larry) Smith, Chuck (Robin) Thornton and Daren Thornton, grandchildren Terry, Jennifer, Ruby, Catie, Daniel and Zachary, great grandchildren Molly, Michael and Bradlynn, siblings Keith (Linda) Foster, Maxine Crawford, Bev Chaney, Vivian and Bill Foster. In keeping with Jane’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no public services.
