Mary Lotz

Mary Henderson Lotz of Columbus, Ohio, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016. Mary was born in Worthington, OH to the late Robert Miller and Anna Marie Henderson. She was a graduate of Marysville High School. She graduated from the Mount Carmel School of Nursing and served as a U.S. Army First Lieutenant Nurse in World War II. Mary was stationed at Wakeman General Army Hospital in Camp Atterbury, Indiana. On May 14, 1946, Mary married the late Charles John Lotz. She is survived by her sister, Ruth Ann Scheiderer of Ocoee, Florida; daughter, Nancy (George) Geruntino of Columbus, Ohio; grandson, Nicholas (Jennifer) Geruntino and great grandson, Luca Geruntino of Bexley, Ohio; granddaughter, Laura Geruntino of Columbus, Ohio; nieces, Cathy (Larry) Rolfes of Ashville, North Carolina and Julie (Greg) Underwood of Ocoee, Florida. A Catholic Mass will be held at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 434 Norton Road, Columbus, Ohio 43228 on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 11 a.m. Entombment service to immediately follow at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Arrangements made with the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Hilliard, Ohio.
