Mary Rowland

Mary Elizabeth Tingley Rowland, age 88, died peacefully on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at Columbus Alzheimer’s Care Center in Columbus, Ohio. Mary was born on November 14, 1920, the daughter of Helen and John Tingley. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard; daughter, Betty Jo Rose; sisters, Dorothy Haycook and Barbara Keyes; and brothers, John and Bill Tingley. Mary is survived by two sisters, Betty McKown and Margie Banks; granddaughter, Linda Marshall; three great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind dear friends, Rosie and Harold Hockensmith of Frankfort, KY. Family will receive friends Monday from 3-5pm at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard where a funeral service will immediately follow at 5pm. Private burial at a later date. The family would like to give a special thanks to Columbus Alzheimer’s Care Center and Heartland Hospice for their loving care of Mary.
