Mary Ellen Usher

Mary Ellen Usher, age 58, of Hilliard, OH, passed away April 15, 2010. Member of Upper Arlington Lutheran Church. Member of International Order of Rainbow for Girls. She was a graduate of Toledo Start High School Class of 1970 and University of Toledo 1974 with a Bachelor’s in Education. She was a teacher at Westland High School for 5 years, 92 quarters at Columbus State Community College as an adjunct instructor, 2 years at Capital University, did much individual and corporate tutoring, including short hand instruction. Preceded in death by father Harry R. Anderson. Survived by mother Helen L. Anderson of Toledo, loving husband of 36 years, Kent, sons Mark (Heather) Usher and Matthew (Jennifer) Usher, brother Mark (Rebecca) Anderson of Toledo, sister Gayle Anderson of Columbus, OH, grandchildren Allison, Isabella and Madeleine and many loving relatives and friends. Family will receive friends Monday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 1 pm Tuesday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Upper Arlington Lutheran Church, Mill Run Campus, 3500 Mill Run Dr., Hilliard, OH 43026. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
