Marylee Chase

Marylee Chase, 90, of Groveport, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016 following a brief illness. She was born on February 6, 1926 in Cambridge, OH and is preceded in death by parents James A. and Bessie L. (Lanning) Likes, sisters Dorothy Warden, baby Martha Likes and Marilyn Joy Dodson, brothers Allen and George Likes, daughter-in-law Margaret Chase and loving husband of 55 years Walla C. Chase. She is survived by daughter Sandy (John) Doutt, sons Monty and Jeff (Denise) Chase, grandchildren Michael (Melissa) Doutt, Janna (Grant) Gardner, Julie Walters, Matthew (Stephanie) Doutt, Dr. Stacey (Shane) Chase-Jividen, Brent (Jessy) Chase, Jeremy (Teri) Chase and Jennifer Tzeiranakis, 9 great grandchildren and beloved chihuahua “Rosie”. She worked at Reebs restaurant for many years and retired from the State of Ohio. Marylee was a proud 25 year member of the Order of Eastern Star and a dedicated volunteer at the Mid Ohio Doll Museum, Canal Winchester. Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Friday, September 16, 2016 at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026 with Eastern Star service at 7:30 pm. Funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, September 17, 2016 at the funeral home with Rev. William Snider officiating. Interment to follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
