Matthew L. Gregory

Matthew L. Gregory, age 24, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025.  He was born in London, Ohio, to Rocky and Lydia Gregory on March 25, 2000.

Matthew was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Irene Keaton and Papa Jr.

He is survived by his parents, Rocky and Lydia Gregory, brother, Alex Gregory, step-moms, Rachel Wint-Gregory and Jessica Smith, paternal grandparents, Dave and Brenda Gregory, maternal grandparents, Betty and Amos Bailey (Brenda Bailey), many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins, and a special mention to Brock Bennett and Matthew Ringer.

You have left our lives but will never leave our hearts.  Gone too soon.  Matthew was a kind hearted and hardworking person who always put the needs of others ahead of his own.  Born in London, Ohio, he moved to Columbus, Ohio, where he made his home and was known to be passionate about motorcycle riding.  He loved riding with family and friends.

Matthew also enjoyed shooting guns, whitewater rafting, online gaming, chess, board games, and he loved just spending time hanging out with family and friends.

He worked hard and became an excellent welder at his job of 5 years.  Matthew was a quiet person with a huge heart.  He would give his last dollar to a stranger without a thought.  His personality brought warmth and joy to everyone he encountered and his passing will be mourned deeply by everyone that knew and loved him.

Matthews memory will remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were honored to have had the privilege of knowing him.

Family will receive friends and family for a visitation and service on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, Ohio, 43026.  The visitation will begin at 12:00PM and end at 2:00PM for the funeral service to follow immediately at 2:00PM.
