Maurice Lowks

Maurice E. (Lucky) Lowks, age 90, passed away at home on June 29, 2010. He was born in Rio Grande, OH December 24, 1919. He was preceded in death by father Marion A. Lowks, mother Jessie A. Talcott, sister A. Marvele Markam, brother Marion O. Lowks and daughter Cheryl (Charlie) A. Karnes. After serving in all Five Campaigns in European WWII as a Liaison pilot with 87th Field Artillery. He became an Administrator for Columbus Public School System, retiring after 20 years. Survived by loving wife Margery A. Lowks (Peck) of 63 years, son Raymond M. Lowks, daughters Maurlin E. Lowks, Debra S. Tebbetts and Deanna K. Foster, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Thursday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 11 am Friday with visitation one hour prior to the time of service. Pastor Gene Folden and Pastor RaeLynn Schlief will be officiating the service. Chapel service Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
