Maurice E. Robinson “Moe”, age 90, of Galloway, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012. He was born March 10, 1922 in Claflin, KS. He was a WWII Veteran serving in the U.S. Navy Air Corps in the South Pacific. Worked as a mechanical engineer for Cleveland Formgrader and Indianhead Corporation designing road paving equipment, while working at Indianhead he had a patent on windshields for Pontiacs. Moe’s happiest times were working in his Granps and Justin’s shed in Myrtle Beach. He was most proud of his toybox for Justin and cradle for Jace and Parker. Preceded in death by father, Charles Robinson (Town Marshall, Ellenwood, KS); mother, Elida Mae Dale; step-father, Jack Tullis; and brothers, Charles and Joe Robinson. Survived by loving wife of 69 years, Betty Jane; daughter, Jane (Rick) Kendall; grandsons, Justin (Lindsay) Kendall and Brian (Miranda) Kendall; great-grandchildren, Jace, Parker, Maddison, and Matthew Kendall; sister, Betty Lou Lanzendorfer; along with nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Family will receive friends Thursday from 3-5 PM at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, OH 43026 where a memorial service will be held at 5 PM.
