Maxie Mae Huffman

Maxie M. Huffman, age 78, of Hilliard, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2008. She was a member of Alder Chapel United Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Clyde Huffman; parents, Dewey and Bertha Montgomery; brothers, Ottis Montgomery and Holly Montgomery; sisters, Lula Wright; Bonnie Ratliff, Hazel Calahan and Alta Lykins. Survived by daughters, Judy Morris and Deborah (Fred) Kaufman; son, C. Michael (Theresa) Huffman; sister-in-law, Elnora Montgomery; brother-in-law, Jack Calahan; 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Friends may call 6-8 PM Thursday at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard. A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Friday at Alder Chapel United Baptist Church, Morgan Rd off Plain City-Georgesville Rd in West Jefferson, with Rev. Charles Smith officiating.
