Maxie Sparks

Maxie (Wallin) Sparks, age 94 and 11 months, of Hilliard, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 2, 2014. She was retired from Big Bear Harts and was a member of Hayden Baptist Church. Maxie was preceded in death by husband Duell Sparks, parents Rev. Hood and Bessie Wallin, 5 brothers, Edgar, Glen, Fred, Conrad and Howard, 1 sister, America Lester and several nieces and nephews. She is survived by daughter Clarice Ann (Doug) Hay, grandson Steve (Cheryl) Hay, granddaughter Sharon (Dan) Crowley, 2 great grandchildren Derrick Hay and Lindsey Crowley, sisters Marie Skaggs, Ilene Hampton and Avanell Skaggs of KY, several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the Carriage Court of Hilliard and Gentiva Hospice for their loving care. Family will receive friends 4-8 pm Friday, September 5, 2014 at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 10:30am Saturday, September 6, 2014 with Rev. Bill Webb officiating. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hayden Baptist Church, 6729 Hayden Run Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026.
