Melvina Elizabeth Billett, 85 of Mt. Sterling passed away Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Fayette County Memorial Hospital in
Washington Court House. She was born Oct. 2, 1923 in Fullerton, Kentucky. The daughter of the late Lee and Daisy (Yates) Williams.
She is survived by 3 sons, Verl Wilson, James Wilson, and Darwin Billett; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Leslie Williams, Clarence Brown, and Lawrence Brown; sisters Etta Johnson, Dororthy Ashley, and Sybil McNab.
A Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. John Colburn officiating with the burial following in Pleasant Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009 from 5 – 7 p.m.
