Michael D. McCann

Michael D. McCann, age 60, of Hilliard, passed away November 4, 2014. Retired Columbus City Police officer after 29 years of service, Chief of Staff of Public Safety for the State of Ohio and was the current President of Lycurgus Group. Mike was an avid golfer at Heritage Golf Club and the best grandpa ever. Preceded in death by dad Clarence “Mac” McCann and in-laws Karl and Marjorie Krohn. Survived by loving wife Bonnie, children Michael (Emily) McCann, Todd McCann and Kelly McCann, grandchildren Molly and Colin McCann, mother Marjorie McCann, sisters Debi, Patti and Kathy, brother-in-laws Harry (Barb) Krohn and Ed (Donna) Krohn, numerous nieces and nephews, a host of good friends and loving dog Annie. Family will receive friends Saturday 10-12 pm and 2-4 pm at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME WITH CREMATORY, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where a funeral service will follow at 4 pm Saturday, November 8, 2014.
