Michael McComb

Michael R. McComb, age 71, of Hilliard, OH, died Tuesday April 7, 2020 at Mount Carmel East Hospital of complications after surgery. Mike was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather who loved the Lord. He was a connoisseur of fine olive oil, loved the drag races, and planned to travel after retirement. Mike is a former “West-sider”, graduated from Whetstone high school class of '67, graduated from Columbus State Community college and attended The Ohio State University. Mike worked for Baesman Group as a Graphic Arts Technician and was well-respected for excellence in his field. Mike was a member of Linworth Baptist Church. Mike is survived by his wife, Donna Brewer McComb, his children, Kelley Smith, Michael McComb, grandchildren, Ethan McComb, Evan Smith, and Cecelia Smith, sister Kathy (Bill) Wohlstein, sisters-in-law Janet Wellman and Cathy (Kent) McCutcheon and beloved cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends. Due to the current health crisis and COVID-19 restrictions there will be private immediate family viewing scheduled for Friday April 10 at Tidd Funeral Home, Hilliard, OH at 5:00PM. An immediate family private burial service will be held Saturday April 11, 2020 at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Hilliard, OH, at 10AM. The family is planning a Celebration of Life Memorial to be held at Linworth Baptist Church at a later date.
