Michael A. Philabaun, Jr.

Michael A. Philabaun, Jr., age 40, of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at OSU-East Hospital.  Born in Columbus, Ohio, Michael was a 2001 graduate of Hilliard Davidson High School and was a graduate of the Columbus College of Art and Design.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents John and Mary Zonak, paternal grandparents Charles E., Sr. and Ruth Philabaun, uncle George Zonak and brother Matthew George Philabaun.  Michael is survived by his mother Irene S. Zonak Philabaun, father Michael A. Philabaun, Jr., brother and sister-in-law John C. and Cortney Philabaun, nephew Harrison Philabaun, aunts and uncles: Sam & Dee Zonak, Carol & Pete Polanski, Charles E., Jr. & Fran Philabaun and Doug & Linda Philabaun, and many cousins and friends.

Funeral Liturgy will be held 11:00a.m. THURSDAY, APRIL 6, 2023 at THE ANNUNCIATION GREEK ORTHODOX CATHEDRAL, 555 North High Street, Columbus, OH 43215 with Reverend Father Isaac Williams, officiating.  Family will welcome friends from 10:00a.m.-11:00a.m. on THURSDAY before the Liturgy.  Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Hilliard, Ohio.
