Michael Zelnik

Michael Zelnik, age 76, of Columbus, passed away Friday, January 25, 2013. Member of St. Margaret of Cortona. He enjoyed his family, family gatherings, the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State football. Preceded in death by parents Dominic and Anna (Mihalek) Zelnik, brothers and sisters Eleanor, Ronald, Elizabeth, Charles and Robert. Survived by wife Karen E. (Miller) Zelnik, children Michael (Carol), Mark (Christine) and Matthew (Kelly), brothers Valentine (Elizabeth), Dominic (Phyllis) and Richard (Minnie), grandchildren Kevin Thaxton (Jenny and daughter Elizabeth), James Garrett, Patrick, Victoria, Samantha, Mark, Matthew, Michael and Peter Zelnik, brother-in-law Jack Garrett, sister-in-law Jean Zelnik and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 am Tuesday at St. Margaret of Cortona, 1600 N. Hague Ave., Columbus, OH 43204. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to any Catholic Charity.
