Mildred (Headlee) Porter, 86, of Hilliard passed away Saturday, January 12, 2008. Whether known as Mom, Grams, Aunt Millie or Kroger Millie, she was the most amazing woman who touched many lives. Mildred is survived by her daughter, Denise Porter; grandchildren, Cara Forester-Leitwein, Brad Forester and their loving families; her brothers, Jack (Vonnie) and Carl (Katie) Headlee as well as the whole Headlee family and countless friends. Millie was preceded in death by many, namely the love of her life, Dr. William Porter D.V.M. and two of her daughters, Pamela Forester and Candy Miller. The greatest joy in Millie’s very full life was being with those she loved. She cherished the newest additions to the family, Cameron Forester, son of Brad and wife Danielle; her sparkle buddy, Cora Leitwein-Cline, daughter of Cara and husband James Leitwein, and the fluffy pup, Dugan. Millie loved spending time with her friends and family who will miss her dearly. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 at The Tidd Funeral Home 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard where a funeral service will be held at 10am on Wednesday with Pastor John Stolzenbach officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society 870 Michigan Ave. Columbus, OH 43215.
