Mildred Irene Powers

Mildred Irene Powers, age 91, of Hilliard, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 11, 2017. Mildred was born in Pliny, West Virginia on April 27, 1926, daughter to the late Worthy Edward Wray and Emma Christ Wray. Mildred was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children: Joyce Wedemeyer, Jack (Karen) Powers and Paul (Suzanne) Powers; her grandchildren: Anthony (Dee Ann) Powers, Paul Wedemeyer, Brian (Tiffany) Wedemeyer, Angie Wedemeyer, Debbie (Aston) Powers, Donna Hamilton. Brian (Babette) Sherer, Carey (Brent) Smith, Brian Holter, Shane (Mel) Holter; twenty-four great-grandchildren and fourteen great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Wanda (Dewey) Akers, Emma Jean Davis, Margie (Willard) Long; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Carmen Powers, sister Mary Wilcox, brothers James Wray, Earl Wray and Glendale Wray, granddaughters Jacqueline Powers and Elizabeth Blankenship, and grandsons Jeffrey Loy and Adam Loy.
