Myron D. Hunt

Myron Hunt, age 78, of Columbus, passed away Monday, October 13, 2008. He was the son of the late Clarence and Bessie Hunt. Preceded in death by sister, Opal Miller and brother, Clarence Jr. An Army veteran of the Korean War, he retired from MCQ after 44 years of service and was a member of Avery Lodge #493 F&AM. Survived by loving wife of 54 years, Geneva; children, Kenneth W. (Paula), James Douglas (Kim) and Daniel S. (Lisa); special brother-in-law, Ron Bakenhaster; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Allen (Nancy) Hunt; and sisters, Marie Sweeney, Lottie Wagoner, Susan (Rock) Leach, Joan (Charles) Abrams and Patty (Speed) Salyers. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard OH 43026 where a funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday with Dr. William L. Snider officiating. Masonic service by Avery Lodge will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
