Myrtle Griffin

Myrtle L. Griffin, of Hilliard, died peacefully on October 17, 2014. She was a wife, mother and homemaker. Myrtle proudly served her country in the Women's Army Corps during WWII as an ambulance driver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry "Hal"; mother, Marie and stepfather Orven Knox. Myrtle is survived by her loving son, Donald and his wife Catherine; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Michael and his wife Chevy; and great granddaughter, Gloria Rose. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, October 20, 2014 at TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard.
