Nancy Burbridge

Nancy L. Burbridge, 61, of Dublin, passed away Thursday October 22, 2009 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was a teacher for the Hilliard City Schools for 31 years, Assistant Athletic Director for 17 years, swim and tennis coach, 1998 Hilliard Davidson Athletic Director of the Year-Central Ohio Girls Basketball Association, 2000 OIAAA-Ohio District Athletic Administration of the Year-Central District, OHSAA-Central District Girls Basketball Coordinator, Regional Volleyball Site Manager, computer help for Central District Basketball, Volleyball, Baseball, Softball, and Soccer seed meetings. She was also an avid tennis player and golfer. She is preceded in death by husband, Michael A. Burbridge; parents, Norman and Janet Locke; sister, Joanne Locke; and in-laws, Edward and Mabel Burbridge. Survived by children, Jill (Homer) Logan; sisters, Susan (Dick) Morrow, Betsy (Jim) Sorensen; sister-in-law, Barb Cox; brother-in-law, Robert (Lee) Burbridge; grandchildren, Nicole M. Logan and Tyler J. Logan; nieces and nephews, Lisa Morrow, Steve (Stephanie) Morrow, Tony Burbridge, Jason Cox, Elka (Nick) Minehart, Kathy (Josh Lewis) Cox, AJ Sorensen, Alex Sorensen, Mandy Crawford, Jenny Cordle; and 12 grand nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will take place at 3pm on Saturday, October 31 at HILLIARD DAVIDSON HIGH SCHOOL where the family invites everyone for food and fellowship after the service.
