Nancy Elfrink of Dublin, Ohio passed peacefully with family at her side on May 14th, 2024 after 88 years lived to its fullest. She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Eddie; children, Debbie and Bill (Jennifer); grandchildren, Ellie (Brett), Matthew (Katie), Nathan (Taylor), Nicholas and Isaac; great-grandson, Colson; dear friends, Lynne and Ed Odorizzi, and numerous other loving friends and relatives. Nancy was preceded in death by her son, Rick; siblings, Dick and Marty; and parents, William and Dorothy Suver.
Nancy was known for her warm heart and tremendous generosity, with no visitor leaving her home empty-handed. She was the life of any party and prioritized happiness, enjoying 25+ wonderful retired winters in Florida and many fifth wheel RV adventures with Eddie. Nancy looked forward to a daily happy hour with Eddie at 5:00pm sharp, on their patio as weather permitted, and often joined by family and friends.
Nancy’s proudest accomplishment was her nearly 7-decade marriage to Eddie. The two shared an inseparable bond and made the best team. Their love for one another inspired all who met them.
Throughout her final few weeks, Nancy expressed profound gratitude toward her caregivers on 8 Silver (VTS) at Riverside Methodist. Nancy’s family is incredibly grateful for the compassion shown by every staff member they encountered. Her family is also grateful to Kobacker House for allowing Nancy a place to spend her final days on her patio, enjoying the chirping of birds, the breeze, and the warm sunshine with Eddie by her side.
In lieu of flowers, Nancy’s final wish was simply for Eddie to be surrounded by love and good company. Please consider joining Eddie for a happy hour or taking him out to dine and to share a cheers to Nancy.
A graveside service will held at a later time.
