Nancy Rolfe, age 78 of Mt. Sterling died Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at her residence. She was born December 2, 1932 in Circleville, Ohio. The daughter of the late Fred and Elizabeth (Boggs) Stevenson.
Member of First United Methodist Church, Mt. Sterling; UMW; provided Day Care for numerous children; garden club; a volunteer for the Community Center in Mt. Sterling.
She was preceded in death by husband, Dale Rolfe; daughter, Rebecca Sue Sherridan.
Survived by daughter & son-in-law, Joy and Jack Day of Heath; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Day; grandson, James Brian (Jennifer) Sherridan; sister, Betty Timmons of Elkhart, IN.; special family members, Eddie & Cindy Rolfe of Mt. Sterling.
A Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Michael Berne officiating with the burial following in Pleasant Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday, Dec. 13th from 3 – 7 p.m.
