Nannette Louise Essex, 57, born May 27, 1959 passed away suddenly on July 26, 2016. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Billy and Beverly Essex and survived by her beloved daughter Heather Brooke (Joe Werts), her adored grandchildren, Laurali and Christian, her sister Melodee Blackburn (John), brothers, Rick (Pam) and Lance (Cheryl) Essex, her uncle Earnest (Syliva) Deadwyler, her Aunt Sue (John) May, cherished friends, Celia and Linda and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Nannette adored her grandchildren and looked forward to every moment she could spend with them. Laurali and Christian shared lots of cheese and pepperoni pizzas and M&M desserts with their grandma “Nana”. The sparkle in Nannette’s eye and the lilt in her steps was put there by her precious babies.
Nannette’s passion was helping those challenged by physical, mental and emotional disabilities. Her career as a Home Health Care Aid spoke to her wiliness to care for and help her patients who couldn’t help themselves.
When Nannette wasn’t with her family or patients, she could be found on the sand or in the water at Myrtle Beach. Accordingly, her ashes will be spread on Myrtle Beach where she can be on the beach by the ocean and watch the sunrises over the water for the rest of forever.
A memorial service for Nannette will be held at the Tidd Family Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, Ohio 43026 on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at 3:00 PM with calling one hour prior at 2 p.m.
