Nathaniel "Nate" James Rattan

Nathaniel “Nate” James Rattan, age 28 of Hilliard, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2019. Nate, attended Xenos Christian Fellowship, Graduate of Hilliard Davidson High School Class of 2009, and culinary arts student at Tolles Tech. He was kitchen manager and pit master at Dickey’s BBQ in Hilliard. He loved music, played guitar, and played at the Dublin Irish Festival. Nate is preceded in death by his grandfathers: Arnold T. Stevens, and James McCoy, cousin: Shawna Marie Stevens, uncles: Mark, Ron Stevens and Marty Rattan. He is survived by parents: Scott (Michelle) Rattan, and Kim (Brian McCoy) Rattan, grandparents: Juanita M. Stevens, Barbara A. Rattan, and James Rattan, Tess McCoy of Chicago, Winston (Dorothy) Bash, siblings: Rachel (Andy) Grizzell, Ben (Manda) Rattan, Ellie Rattan, Megan (Billy) Sauer, aunt Stacey Barlow and her children Jake and Nick, beloved nieces and nephews Caleb and Ava Grizzell, Angel and Eli Sauer, and numerous loving relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at the Tidd Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, Ohio, 43026, Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 4-7 P.M. for a Celebration of Life gathering. Nate was a giving person and his quiet sweet spirit will be missed by all those lives he touched.
