Nellie Morris

Nellie Morris, age 73, of Hilliard, passed away April 20, 2012 at the Kobacker House. Graduate of South High (Columbus) in 1957. She was a member of the Hilliard United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her family and watching her granddaughters grow up. She loved to travel with her family and friends and she also loved to play poker. Preceded in death by parents William and Ellen Walters, first husband Lewis Kackley whom she married in 1957, second husband Charles Richard “Dick” Morris whom she married in 1991, infant daughter Rebecca Kackley and brother Bill Walters. Survived by daughter Pam (Ron) Suttles, sister Laura Groves, grandchildren Michelle and Angela Suttles, close cousins, nieces, nephews, her special group of South High girlfriends and numerous friends from different stages of her life. Family will receive friends 5-7 pm Tuesday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME WITH CREMATORY, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where a memorial service will take place at 7 pm Tuesday with Karen Muntzing officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kobacker House, 180 E.
