Norma Cochenour

Norma Cochenour, age 79, of Williamsport, died March 24, 2015 at her residence. She was born January 14, 1936 in Mt. Sterling, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Chester and Marvine ( nee George) Cupp.

Also preceding her in death was son, Paul “Butch” Bivens, Jr. and great-granddaughter Kaylee.

Norma worked for the State of Ohio as a hospital aid in MRDD for 23 years.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Cherie Cochenour (Jerry Wilson); grandchildren, Jason, Travis Wilson, Ryan (Ashley) Elliott, Austin (Miranda) Cornwell; great-grandchildren Madison Wilson, Ryley and Adaley Elliott; son, Randy Bivens and 3 granddaughters; step-son, Damon (Jackie) Cochenour; brothers, Keith (Judy) Cupp and Bill (Nancy) Cupp; very special special friends, Lolly Overly, Brendan Landman, Joy Woods, and Vicky Stonerock; and a host of many other friends.

A Funeral service will be officiated by Reverend Dortha Ross, at 1:00pm on Monday, March 30, 2015 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. The interment will follow in Springlawn Cemetery, Williamsport. Family will receive friends beginning at 11:00am until time of service.
