Nova Pennington

Nova I. Pennington, age 78, formerly of Pancoastburg, died February 3, 2014 in Signature Health Care (Country Glenn) in Washington C.H. She was born April 6, 1935 in Morgan County, KY.
Preceded in death by parents Ronald and Delia (Fyffe) Pennington; 4 infant brothers; brothers Eudell and Bronard Pennington; sister-in-law Anna Lou Pennington; and nephew Ryan Penrod.
She is survived by son, Billy Joe Pennington, whom she made her home prior to the nursing home of Washington C.H. (Pancoastburg); brothers Charlie Pennington of Washington C.H., Jim Pennington of Paintsville, KY.; sisters Bert (Autie) Ison of Columbus, Judy, family care giver while in nursing home (Dean) Penrod of Washington C.H.; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
A Funeral service will be held 1:00 pm on Friday, February 7, 2014 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. The burial will follow in Springlawn Cemetery in Williamsport. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 – 8 pm.
