Opal Harris

Opal Harris, age 79, of Grove City, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2011. She was a member of Southwest Freewill Baptist Church for over 35 years and retired from Red Roof Inn. Preceded in death by husband of 53 years, Ervin Harris; daughters, Josephine Harris and Debbie Castle; sister, Juanita Comstock; and sister-in-law, Joan Thompson. Survived by daughter, Louise (Birchard) Griffith; sons, Daniel (Brooke) Harris and Bob Harris; sister, Mary Schaffer; brothers, Dallas Thompson and Bob (Berta) Thompson; grandchildren, Tony, Lisa, Deliah, Renea, Steven, Tina, Devada, and Missy; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, loving relatives and friends. Family will receive friends 5-8pm Monday at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, OH 43026. A funeral service will be held 10am Tuesday at SOUTHWEST FREEWILL BAPTIST CHURCH 1542 Greenleaf Rd. Columbus, OH 43223 with Pastor John Meade officiating. Interment Forest Grove Cemetery.
