Ossie Flowers

Ossie Flowers, age 66, of London, Ohio, went home to the Lord on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born in Columbus to Pauline and the late Ralph Flowers, Ossie was a graduate of Hilliard High School, Class of 1969. Ossie was a talented mechanic and musician. A true believer in his Savior, he was very active in his church and community. He used his talents as a musician to help and entertain others. He was a former member of Parkview United Methodist Church and was currently a member of First Baptist Church in West Jefferson. In addition to his father Ralph, Ossie was preceded in death by his first wife Marilyn Sue Flowers, his son Eric Aaron Flowers and his nephew Alexander Hood. Ossie is survived by his loving wife Joyce L. Flowers of London, mother Pauline Flowers of Hilliard, daughter and son-in-law Tracey and Greg Hanson of Hilliard, grandchildren Carter and Chase Hanson, step-children Cynthia Crites of Mt. Sterling, OH and Charlton Crites of West Virginia, step-grandchildren Chandler Crites and Chevy Jewel, his brother Garland (Diana) Flowers of Wheeling, WV, sisters Christine (Wayne) Sensat of Lake Charles, LA and Lorrine (Chuck) Hood of Powder Springs, GA, his many nieces and nephews and his many close, good friends. Family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00p.m. MONDAY at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 where his Funeral Service will be held 11:00a.m. TUESDAY, JANUARY 31, 2017.
