Pamela Evans

Pamela Evans, age 57 of Hilliard, OH passed away peacefully at home after winning the battle against breast cancer but succumbing to a dignified battle with ovarian cancer. Her courageous and tenacious fights with cancer were left behind to be “in the arms of Jesus” for eternity. She was a longtime member of Glenwood UMC and continued her discipleship of Christ as a member of Lifepoint Church in Hilliard. Pam graduated from Mt.Carmel School of Nursing and received her bachelors degree from Franklin University. She worked at Mt.Carmel West Hospital as a SICU and Family Practice nurse prior to raising her family. Later she was employed by Ohio Health in outreach and wellness nursing. Pam is survived by her mother and father, Jean and Don Treiber, brother and nephew, Bruce and Brian Treiber, from Pataskala. She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Mark Evans, son Nathan (Rachel) of Beavercreek, OH, and daughter Abby. She was a fantastic wife and mother. She leaves behind too many supportive friends and extended family to name but are greatly appreciated. Special thanks to the James Cancer Hospital, and Gentiva Hospice. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Lifepoint Church, 3915 Dublin Road in Columbus, OH on Friday, January 9th at 10 A.M. Friends may call to remember Pam’s sweet spirit Thursday, January 8th from 4-8 P.M. at the church. Friends may also visit 9 A.M. until the start of the service at 10 A.M. on Friday.
