Pamela J.(Stewart) France

Pamela Joyce (Stewart) France passed away on August 16, 2019 at 66 years of age. Proceeded in death were her parents Albert and Mary Stewart and her brother Marion Stewart (Jim). Surviving Pam are brothers Albert Stewart Jr., John Stewart and sister Shirley (Stewart) France. Pam and her loving husband of 44 years, Gregory, have three children: Amanda Overby (husband Justin), Molly Hicks (husband Nicholas)) and Elliot France (wife Christina). Pam and Gregory have four beautiful granddaughters. After graduating from Coventry High School in Akron, Ohio, Pam received her bachelor’s degree from Miami University of Ohio. Her masters of Speech Pathology was achieved from Murray State of Kentucky. Pam dedicated her professional life to helping children with speech problems first in the public school system in Kentucky and then at the Columbus Speech and Hearing Center for nearly 26 years where she became an assistant director. Pam continued to practice in the field she loved up until her retirement two months ago. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the Columbus Speech and Hearing Center: 510 E. North Broadway, Columbus, Ohio 43214, and to University Hospital at O.S.U. Hospice: 410 W. 10th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43210. On Friday August 23rd, visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00 pm followed by Pam’s Memorial Service from 7:00-8:00pm.
