Patricia Schnug

Patricia J. (Williams) Schnug, age 83, of Hilliard, passed away in her home on Tuesday, March 15, 2011, after a long battle with cancer. “Pat” was born on April 23, 1927 in Logan County, OH. She graduated from Grandview Heights High School in 1944.Preceded in death by parents, Karmin and Ruby Williams and brother Billy G. Williams. Survived by loving husband of 64 years, Bill Schnug, Hilliard; daughters Mary (Chuck) Buck, Hilliard; Lesa (Ray) Brunacini, Delta CO; son Bill (Pam) Schnug, Lowell, MI; grandchildren, Mandy (Jay) Rhoades, Hilliard, Dr. Emily (Ladd) Gabriel, DVM, Dublin, Lauren (Ray) Wachauf, Columbus, Brandon Schnug, Kentwood, MI, and Devin Brunacini, Denver, CO great grandson Riley Wachauf, Columbus, sister Phyllis Willis, Sun City West, AZ, also beloved nieces, nephews and friends. Pat was a charter member of Hilliard Memorial Unit 614 of The American Legion Auxiliary and served in every leadership position in her over 60 years of membership. Member of Hilliard United Methodist Church. She and her husband, Bill have been inducted into the Hilliard Senior Citizen Hall of Fame. Family will receive friends Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME WITH CREMATORY, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Memorial service will be held 2 pm Friday at the Hilliard United Methodist Church, 5445 Scioto Darby Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026 with Pastor David Ziegel officiating. Private family inurnment will be held at Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Pat’s name to the Memorial Unit 614, American Legion Auxiliary, Hilliard, OH.
