Patricia Ann Ward

Patricia Ann Ward, age 84, of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away at home peacefully on Friday, June 2, 2023.  A resident of Hilliard for over 65 years, Patty was a long-time manager/waitress/pizza maker at Tommy’s Pizza on Lane Avenue and North Star. She was a parishioner of St. Margaret of Cortona Catholic Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister.  She also was an Avon Sales Rep for many years and enjoyed going to the corporate convention in Atlanta to be recognized for her long career.  Patty was preceded in death by her parents Ruby and Mike Lonker, brothers Steven, Michael and Robert Lonker, her beloved husband Norbert Gene Ward, daughter Mary Margaret Miller, grandson George Miller and granddaughter Patricia Schmitthaur.  She is survived by her children: Niels Eugene Ward, Steven David Ward, Elizabeth (James) Quarandillo and Rebecca Lynn McFarland; her grandchildren: Angelica Margaret Quarandillo, Erik (Erica) Ward and Jackie Collins; her great-grandchildren: Jacob Cole Miller, Demarian David Jones, Josiah James Eugene Quarandillo, Erik Jason “E.J.” Ward, Caroline Kate Ward, Robert Schmitthaur and Jack Schmitthaur , and many other loving relatives and friends.
