Patricia Joan Woollard (Stonecipher) passed away on May 17, 2024 in Columbus, OH She was born on July 7, 1942 in Mount Vernon, IL Patricia had a fulfilling career as a Registered Nurse with a 35 year tenure that culminated in her retirement as a Nursing Supervisor at Friendship Village in Schaumburg, IL. She graduated from Michael Reese Hospital School of Nursing in 1962.
Patricia is survived by her four sons: Jeffery, Steven, David and Mark, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and her brother: Donald Dahl. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer, her husband, Gerald and her brother, Ronald.
Patricia will be remembered for her dedication to nursing and the care and compassion she showed to all those she served throughout her career. Patricia was very structured and regimented in her professional life but her personal life was dedicated to family. Friends and family would never go hungry after holidays and social get togethers. Everyone left with a full stomach. She would always pack up bags and styrofoam containers with leftover cookies, cupcakes, hamburgers and hotdogs and hand them off as parting gifts. She made sure we were never wanting. For birthdays, she made sure you had a special day. She will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace.
Visitation will be held May 24, 2024 from 9:00-11:30 AM at Ahlgrim and Son's Funeral Home, 330 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg, IL 60195
Gravesite Services will be held 12:45 PM at Lakewood Memorial Park, 30W730 US-20, Elgin, IL 60120.
