Patti Zacek

Patricia "Patti" Zacek, age 78, of Hilliard, passed away October 27, 2024. Patti enjoyed cooking, reading, devotionals, movies, and watching tv series, especially People's Court and Battlestar Galactica with her daughter. She loved laughing with her son and her daughter in law at family gatherings and helping to prepare meals for the family to enjoy together. But above all else, she adored her grandkids, just spending time watching them grow up and smiling with them. She loved shopping for special gifts and cards for her grandkids, and other children in the family. Patti was a registered nurse and she devoted much of her working life to assisting others, focusing on helping individuals to overcome drug addictions. Preceded in death by parents Doyt Alexander Blackwelder and Claire Gilberte Gadoury. Survived by daughter Hope Zacek, son Dom Zacek, daughter in law Elsie Zacek, son in law Ben Taratoot, grandchildren: Jack Zacek and Charlotte Zacek, three sisters, Judi Bitner, Nancy King, and Joanne Fritz. Family will receive friends from 2pm-4pm on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Inurnment will be at Union Cemetery 3349 Olentangy River Rd. Columbus, OH 43202.
