Patrick Davis

Patrick Davis, age 60, of Dublin, passed away December 15, 2013. They say it is not the length of a life but the depth that defines it, and Pat surely affected many through his work as Superintendent of Buildings for the Catholic Diocese, caring nature and general love for family and friends. A husband, father, friend, coach and mentor, he was a man who would do anything in his power to help everyone. Member of Knights of Columbus and St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church. Preceded in death by father Edward Davis Sr., mother-in-law Mary Bazan and father-in-law Michael Bazan. Survived by mother Anna Marie Davis, loving wife of 36 years Pamela, daughter Erin (Jonathan) Bailey, siblings Cathy (Robert) Johnson, Maureen (Chris) Lubic, Edward (Rosalie), Michael, Terrance (Lisa), James (Jodie) and Daniel (Tamara) Davis, sister-in-law Sue (Steve) Liston, brother-in-law Michael (Dawn) Bazan, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Pat’s body will be received 2 pm Thursday at St. Brigid of Kildare Catholic Church, 7179 Avery Rd., Dublin, OH 43017; where friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11 am Friday at St. Brigid of Kildare Catholic Church. The Most Reverend Frederick F. Campbell, Bishop of Columbus, presider and homilist. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Foundation to support Catholic Education in Pat’s memory, 257 E. Broad St., Columbus, Oh 43215. Private family inurnment will follow at a later date.
