Patrick McCarty

Patrick Michael McCarty, Sr., age 59, of Columbus, passed away Friday, August 16, 2013. 1973 graduate of Hilliard High School. Retired with 22 years of service with Kinetics Noise Control and was a member of the American Legion Post 614. Preceded in death by grandparents Gene and Lona McCarty, grandmother Murial Voss, father-in-law Jesse Caldwell, cousin Guy Devito and sister-in-law Barbara Keith. Survived by loving wife of 40 years Carolyn, children Patrick (Shanna) McCarty II and Christopher J. (Jillian) McCarty, parents John and Florence McCarty, mother-in-law Kathleen Caldwell, brother Timothy (Nancy) McCarty, grandchildren Tyler, Ryan, Christopher, Patrick III, Hannah and Elaine, sisters-in-law Marilyn (Rick) Ward and Jackie (Gary) Uhrig, best friend Mike Haycook, many loving relatives and close friends. Family will receive friends Tuesday 3-8 pm at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 11 am Wednesday with Pastor Jeff Leslie officiating. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
