Patrick John Wiggins, Jr.

Patrick John Wiggins, Jr., age 56, of Hilliard, OH, went to Heaven on Friday, October 20, 2017 after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Columbus, OH, John was a graduate of Bishop Watterson High School, Class of 1980. He was a Procurement Specialist with the State of Ohio, Department of Public Safety. John was preceded in death by his brother William David Wiggins. He is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Diane Wiggins, their daughter Correen Elizabeth Wiggins, parents Deacon Pat and Marilyn Wiggins, all of Hilliard, sisters and brothers: Teresa Wiggins of Hilliard, Linda Bennett of Columbus, Mary Ellen (George) Figuray of Thornville, OH, Paul (Betsy) Wiggins of Columbus and Michael Wiggins of Columbus, brother-in-law David Merkel of Cleveland, sister-in-law Karen (Kris) Eicher of Dublin, OH, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and his faithful canine companions Avery and Quinn. The family extends a very special “Thank You” to John’s oncology team with David Liebner, MD & Associates and the wonderful, caring staff at The Sanctuary at Tuttle Crossing. Family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00p.m. WEDNESDAY at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722. A Prayer Vigil will be held at 7:30p.m. Family will also welcome friends from 9:30a.m.-10:30a.m. THURSDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2017 at ST. BRENDAN THE NAVIGATOR CATHOLIC CHURCH, 4475 Dublin Road, Hilliard, OH 43026 where John’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30a.m. with Monsignor John Johnson and Father Bob Penhallurick, Con-celebrants. Burial will follow at Kingwood Memorial Park, Lewis Center, OH.
