Patty Lou Eggleton

Patty Lou Eggleton (née Hall) was born to Jay Hall Sr. and Earthel Hall on February 23rd, 1940. She was raised in a family of 14 children. She grew up in southern Ohio near the banks of the Ohio River. Her childhood was happy. She was a joyful, strong and resilient woman. She married Clifford Eggleton (who never stopped making her heart beat faster) on July 18th, 1959 and went on to raise a family of 3 children. She was a lover of books and read almost anything she could get her hands on. She loved learning about new things. She played golf and was on a golf league when living in Maryland. After she and Cliff moved back to Ohio, she went to work part time and truly enjoyed it. Although Rheumatoid Arthritis was ravaging her body her mind stayed sharp and her spirit indomitable. She was a strong woman. She passed peacefully into the arms of the Savior on February 12, 2020 at Kobacher House in Columbus Ohio. She was loved by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband Clifford and children Pamela (Dennis) Brookins, Mark (Monica) Eggleton and Vicky (Karen Gorsky) Eggleton. She had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved to hear stories about them all. She was so very proud of them. We all loved her and will miss her greatly. A wonderful reunion was had when she was met in heaven by all who preceded her in death. She lives on in our hearts forever. We love you, Patty Lou. Family will receive friends Monday, February 17, 2020, from 9-11 AM at the Tidd Family Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, Ohio, 43026. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM.
