Paul Buchanan

Paul R. “Captain Buck” Buchanan, age 91, of Dublin, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2008. Member of Hilliard United Methodist Church. U.S. Navy Veteran WWII as a fire fighting specialist, Retired Captain Columbus Fire Department with 28 years service, Member of VFW #3426, Member Avery Lodge #493 F&AM, Aladdin Temple, Scottish Rite, and I.A.T.S.E. stage hand for several years throughout Columbus Local #12. Preceded in death by loving wife Doris M. Buchanan 2001, brother Walter and sister Frances. Survived by children Jacquelyn A. (Mal) Morehouse of Dublin, OH and Jean Churchill of Mandan, ND, 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 2pm Tuesday at the Hilliard United Methodist Church, 5445 Scioto Darby Rd., Hilliard, OH with Pastor David Ziegel officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the church or the American Lung Association. Inurnment Sunset Cemetery.
