Paul C. Capani

Paul C. Capani, age 77, of Dublin, OH passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023.  Paul enjoyed the game of golf, playing poker and spending time with his buddies. Even with a dry sense of humor, he truly enjoyed making people laugh.  Always wanting to stay entertained, he would meet anyone for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a movie. He claimed to not want anything to do with the family dogs, but was often caught petting and snuggling each one. 

Paul was most well known among family and friends to be quite miserly, making his children and their friends split meals on every occasion. And although he liked to pinch pennies, he was famous with the neighborhood trick-or-treaters, buying entire bags of candy to distribute to each individual child. On the occasion he would run out, he was prepared with dollar bills for the last few kids in place of a bag of candy. He will be deeply and sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Paul is preceded in death by his father, Ray Capani and mother, Helen (Haluska) Capani.  

He is survived by his wife, Pamela (Cameron) Capani of 46 years; children, Christina (Aaron) Mallow, Juli (Mike) Kunselman; siblings, Kathy Capani; grandchildren, Camden Mallow, Hayes and Miles Kunselman, various nieces and nephews and many good friends.
