Paul Willard Cover passed away peacefully on Saturday June 8, 2013. Born June 4, 1924, to Jessie and George Cover in Poland, Ohio, he had just celebrated his 89th birthday. He was drafted in the Army during WW II. A long-time member at the Scioto Ridge United Methodist Church. He studied at several colleges to become a Research Physicist at Battelle Memorial Institute for 30 years until he retired in 1986. He held several U.S. patents. He volunteered with the Inventors Network. He was proceeded in death by his parents, beloved sister Julia (Cover) Badal, brother-in-law Daniel, and parents-in-law. He is survived by wife Carol (Wise) of nearly 61 years, daughters Carmine (Cover) Todd and Cathleen (Cover) Payne (& Jim), grandchildren David and Samantha Todd and Jay and Brian Payne, numerous nieces and nephews, and dear friends and neighbors. A private family service will be held at a later time. His body is donated to science, as he requested.
