Paul McCarty

Paul E. McCarty, 88, of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away on December 9, 2024. He was born on January 28, 1936 in Paintsville, Kentucky to the late Willy and Garnett (Hayes) McCarty.

He is survived by his wife Jean, who he married on February 14, 1955, in Paintsville, Kentucky. His sons, David (Doris) and Tim (Debi), and daughter, Kimberly (Ben) Buoni, his 6 grandchildren, Josh (Dani), Megan (Chris), Jeremy (Elizabeth), Nathan (Alaina), Ryan and Sam, as well as 10 great-grandchildren, Eli, Kia, Chloe, Kenny, Mary, Addison, Elizabeth, Hudson, Rhett and Little Paul. As an only child, he loved his big family so much.

Paul had been a member of the Alder Chapel United Baptist Church for many years. Having no brothers and sisters, he loved his church family with all of his heart. He greatly enjoyed going to church and singing, he loved to sing.

 The family will receive friends for a visitation on Thursday, December 12th at the Tidd Family Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, Ohio, 43026 beginning at 5:00pm and ending at 7:00pm. 

 The following day, Friday, December 13th there will be a funeral service held at the Alder Chapel United Baptist Church, 8320 Morgan Rd, West Jefferson, OH, 43162 at 11:00am.

 On Saturday, December 14 the burial will take place in the Marvin Sparks Cemetery besides the Hoods Fork Church in Lawrence County Kentucky.
