Paul McLeod Miller, born September 8, 1955, left this earth on March 7, 2024 at home. Paul was born in Mansfield OH, and grew up there. After graduation from Mansfield Malabar High School, Paul went to Ohio Wesleyan University, where he played football and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Paul graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and made many good friends at Oh-Woo. Paul was a life-long and avid fan of the Cleveland Browns, the Cleveland Indians and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He started his professional life with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in Dayton OH. After two years he began a long and successful career with Erie Insurance Company of Erie PA. While with Erie, Paul worked in Columbus, Fort Wayne, IN, Silver Spring, MD, and ended his career back in Columbus, retiring after 34 years. He enjoyed mentoring insurance agents and, as one agent said, "I am the man I am today because of Paul Miller".
Paul leaves behind his loving wife, Susan, brother Theodore (Annalise) of the Philippines, sister-in-law Ann Miller, of FL, niece Karen (Keith) Heavey, of FL, niece Sara (Jeremy, deceased) Newton, of MO, great-nieces Alexa Heavey, of FL, Harper Newton, of MO, great-nephews Camden Newton, of MO and Owen Heavey, of FL, many cousins, and so many, many friends. Preceding Paul in death were his parents, Gilda June (Gray) Miller, and Harry E. Miller, Sr., brothers Tom A. and Harry E, Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00AM on SATURDAY, APRIL 13, 2024 at the WESTERVILLE COMMUNITY UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, 770 County Line Rd, Westerville, Ohio, 43081, where Paul would be pleased to see everyone in Hawaiian shirts. Pastor Susan Langner will officiate the service. Sue will greet friends before the service beginning at 10:00a.m..
